Gloria “Ma” Walker Little, 74, of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

“Ma”, a native of Halifax County, was the daughter of the late Horace Walker and Thelma Tillotson Walker. Gloria was also preceded in death by husband, Marcus Grant Little, Sr.; her son, Raymond Lee Little; her grandson, Joshua Grant Smith; her sister, Sylvia Handley; and her brother, Wayne Walker.

Gloria was a Baptist by faith, and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

“Ma” is survived by her daughter, Donna Pope, of Boykins, VA; her sons, Marcus G. Little, Jr., of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Billy Little and wife, Lisa, of Conway, NC, Larry Little and his wife, Kandi, of Boykins, VA; her eight grandchildren, Samantha Dowd, Christy Little, Jessica Little, Crystal Bryant, Alex Little, Matt Pope, Ben Little and Grant Little; her ten great-grandchildren A.J., Gracey, J.J., Nevaeh, Logan, Kloee, Kameron, Madison, Elaina, Avery; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM in Seaboard Cemetery with Rev. David Foster officiating.
